Upon arrival pick up your rental car, and drive to your hotel in the Covington–Newport area. Spend the afternoon exploring Northern Kentucky by visiting Newport on the Levee, a lively entertainment and dining destination or follow the B-Line to experience Northern Kentucky’s bourbon-focused distilleries, bars, and restaurants.
 

Travel from Newport toward Lexington, with an optional stop in Georgetown. Take a tour of the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, the largest Toyota production plant in the world or explore the towns equestrian roots at Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm (own expense). After arriving in Lexington this evening, explore Lexington’s Distillery District or the dynamic new Greyline Station marketplace.
 

Head to Red River Gorge for outdoor activities such as kayaking in the Gorge Underground (own expense) or hiking at Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Depart of Louisville to tour the Kentucky Derby Museum or Churchill Downs, and explore Whiskey Row attractions such as the Muhammad Ali Center, Louisville Slugger Museum, the Frazier History Museum, and the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience (own expenses).
