This small group tour provides a unique and truly Canadian  experience with overnight stays in Whistler, Wells Gray Provincial Park, Jasper, Banff, and Kelowna. You will have plenty of time to get off the beaten path and do some amazing hikes in addition to experiencing the world-renowned sights of Maligne Lake in Jasper, Lake Louise, Columbia Icefields, Banff, and more.

Itinerary

Depart downtown Vancouver at 09:00am (please arrive by 08:45am). Stop at Shannon Falls. Travel the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway. Stop at Brandywine Falls. Arrive in Whistler Village and enjoy a walking tour. Check into your centrally located hotel in Whistler Village. 

Accommodation: Hilton Resort or similar
 

Enjoy a guided tour of the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre. A cultural ambassador will welcome you with a drum song, and will share stories of the Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations as you explore the museum. Depart Whistler and drive through Pemberton and Lillooet. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint in Lillooet. Check into your hotel in Clearwater. Free time for dinner and to enjoy the hotel's amenities.

Explore Wells Fray Provincial Park, known for its many waterfalls. Visit Helmcken Falls and Spahats or Dawson Falls. Stop at Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Check into your centrally located hotel in the town of Jasper. Free time to explore the town of Jasper and have dinner.

Explore Maligne Canyon - Walk along scenic bridges and trails and see ancient fossils in rock, and many waterfalls (please be advised that Maligne Canyon experienced significant damage from the Jasper wildfire, and an opening date has yet to be determined. If it remains closed, Discover Canada Tours will arrange an alternative stop). Visit Maligne Lake which is famous for the colour of its azure water, the surrounding peaks, the three glaciers visible from the lake, and Spirit Island, a frequently and very famously photographed islet. Free time in the afternoon to explore Jasper.

Take the Banff Gondola and enjoy the amazing views of the Rockies. Enjoy a tour of Banff townsite including Bow Falls and the famous Banff Springs Hotel. Free time for shopping and sightseeing on Banff Avenue. Evening at leisure in Banff.

Explore beautiful Lake Louise. Visit Moraine Lake (seasonal). Travel through Roger's Pass. Check into your centrally located hotel in downtown Kelowna. Explore the town of Kelowna with many dining options to choose from (own expense).

Explore the Okanagan Valley with a stop at a famer's market and winery. Return to Vancouver at approximately 07:30pm.
